We are sad to announce the passing of William M. Shea of Bedford, who passed away at the E.N. Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital on January 9, 2023 after suffering failing health over the past year. He will be missed by his many friends and family members.

He was born February 19 1944 in Boston, the son of the late Wilfred and Verlie (Farr) Shea. He is also predeceased by his wife Terri (Moccia), sister Barbara (Shea) Cavallini and brother Paul Shea, as well as his little yorkie Maxi, who was his true companion for many years.

Bill proudly served in the U.S. Coast Guard and worked successfully for many years in sales and in later years as a limousine driver. Bill had a unique sense of humor and enjoyed photography, boating, fishing, travel and had a true love of the sea.

Bill is survived by nieces, Yvonne Cavallini-Mudge and her husband Tie, Barbara (Cavallini) Royer and her husband Daniel, and and Jane Shea; grand nieces and nephews, great-grand nieces and a great-grand nephew.

There will be a Celebration of Life ceremony on February 4th at 1 pm at Bedford Greens, 100 Pride Way Bedford, MA. Family and friends are kindly invited. Burial will be at a later date.
