Wayne P. Callahan of Bedford, a U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War, died on Saturday, April 2, 2022 in his home in Bedford. He was the loving father of Kelly and her husband Matt O'Neil of Westerly, RI and Matthew and his wife Jennifer Callahan of Leominster. Loving grandfather of eight: Madison, Cadence, Olivia, and Aidan O'Neil and Henry, Mack, Gus, and Bea Callahan. Beloved brother of Barbara Callahan, David Aiken, Michael "Rick" Callahan, and the late Diane Woodland. He is also survived by many relatives, friends, and his beloved service dog, Quint. Family and friends are invited to visiting hours in Shawsheen Funeral Home on Thursday, April 7, 2022 4pm to 7pm and a gathering in the funeral home on Friday, April 8, 2022 at 10am, proceeding at 11pm to Shawsheen Cemetery, Bedford for burial.
