He served his country honorably as a Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force and later worked at Raytheon, where he was heavily involved as a union steward and insurance benefits counselor, always advocating for and helping others. He also spent time as a construction manager, and was always there to support and assist his son at MMP Construction whenever needed. Terry was known for his strong work ethic, his willingness to help others, and the pride he took in supporting his family.
He is survived by his loving wife Margaret Palmer; his daughter Alicia Grand; his son Matthew Palmer and daughter-in-law Rose Griffin Palmer; his cherished grandchildren, Gavin, Owen, Ian Griffin, and Landon Palmer; his beloved grand pups, Mia and Teddy; and many loving nephews and one niece. He was predeceased by his parents, the late Charles and Teresa Palmer and sister Charlene Palmer,
He found his greatest joy in spending time with his family, especially watching his grandchildren play baseball and other sports. Among his most treasured memories were witnessing his two oldest grandsons reach incredible milestones—one advancing to the Little League Regionals, and another making it all the way to the Little League World Series.
He also enjoyed traveling with family and friends, including four consecutive trips to Nashville, as well as countless road trips and camping adventures that created lasting memories for all who shared them.
He was a man who always showed up for the people he loved. His presence, support, and unwavering dedication meant everything to his family, and it is a sentiment they will carry with them always—they could not have done it without him.
He will be deeply missed, forever loved, and never forgotten.
