Richard R. Wardrobe, age 83, beloved husband of the late Dorothy J. (Malone) Wardrobe, passed away Sunday, March 9, 2025 after a long battle with cancer. Richard was born on June 28, 1941 in Medford, MA to the late Roy E. and Evelyn M. (McCauley) Wardrobe and was raised in Melrose, MA. He proudly served his country with pride in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam War from 1964-1967.

Richard worked in the gear plant at River Works as a gear shaver for the Aviation Division at General Electric in Lynn, MA.

Richard is survived by his daughter Tammy Douglas and her husband William Douglas, of Concord, MA, and his grandson Brenden Douglas. He is also the brother of Bonnie Wardrobe of Belmont, MA.
