Richard A. Chick, age 80, passed away peacefully Saturday October 7, 2023 surrounded by his loved ones. He was born in 1943 in Cambridge and grew up in Bedford, graduating from Bedford High School in 1962. He served in the U.S. Army from 1962-1964 then moved to Foxboro and returned to Bedford 30 years ago.

He is predeceased by his first wife Patricia Chick and leaves behind his loving wife Virginia; two sons and their spouses, Jeffrey and Susan Chick of Plainville and Douglas and Heather Chick of Rochester, along with three step-children; Kristen Dibble of Worcester, Matthew Dibble and wife Suzanne of Methuen, and Jessica Wiggins and husband Chester of Bedford; nine grandchildren Jorja Chick, Tyler and Kelsi Chick, Jason, Kaitlyn and Emily Dibble and Madison, Benjamin and Mason Wiggins.

A gathering for family and friends to celebrate Richie's life will take place on Sunday, October 15th from 1:00-3:00 at the Bedford American Legion Post 221, 357 Great Road, Bedford, MA.
