Phyllis E. (Shute) Thomas of Lexington died on October 18, 2025 at the age of 102. She was the beloved wife of the late Hazen A. Thomas.

Loving mother of Pamela A. Thomas and Gordon C. Thomas and his wife Diane.

Loving grandmother of Cassandra Thomas and her partner Christopher Freligh and Jennifer Thomas and her partner Mike Schulz.

She was a former crossing guard at the Estabrook School in Lexington. Phyllis was a full-time homemaker and mother.

She will be buried in Westview Cemetery at a later date.
