Patricia Agnes (Belfi) Marcus of Bedford, passed away peacefully on March 14, age 85. She was the beloved wife of the late Sebastian "Butch" Marcus with whom she shared 64 years of marriage.

Devoted mother of Patricia Vlachos of Stoneham, Peter Marcus of Newport, NH, and Paul Marcus and his wife Kristin of Bedford. She was the cherished grandmother of Peter, Nicholas, Gina, Catherine, and Robert; and great-grandmother of P.J. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Patricia is predeceased by her parents, the late Joseph and Agnes Belfi.

Pat grew up in Queens, NY and moved to Bedford with Butch in the 1960's where they raised their family. When her children grew older, Pat was employed with the Concord-Carlisle school system. After her retirement in 1998, Pat and Butch travelled often including making annual trips to NY and Florida to see their family and friends.

Pat will always be remembered for her smile, positive disposition, and love of a good story. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. She will be deeply missed.

Family and friends gathered in Shawsheen Funeral Home on Friday March 17, 2023. A funeral service was held on Saturday March 18th at 10a.m. in Shawsheen Funeral Home followed by a burial service in Shawsheen Cemetery in Bedford.
