Muriel L. (LaJoie) Grant, 75, of Bedford, formerly of Medford, passed away peacefully on February 28, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Born in Methuen, MA, Muriel was raised in North Andover and graduated from Lawrence High School. She built a warm and loving home in Medford, where she and her husband, George H. Grant shared 48 wonderful years of marriage and raised their two sons.

Muriel was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She found joy in life's simple pleasures—camping in New Hampshire; where she formed lifelong friendships, and traveling to destinations she loved, including Hampton Beach, cruising in the Caribbean, and trips to Las Vegas. She also treasured time spent over lunch with family and friends.

A proud member of the American Legion Post-221 Ladies Auxiliary, Muriel valued community and camaraderie. In her later years, while at the Aberjona Nursing Facility, she was so lovingly cared for by their dedicated staff and continued to embrace life's small joys, enjoying bingo, puzzles, and word searches, always bringing warmth and kindness to those around her.

Muriel is survived by her loving husband George; her sons, Peter and Matthew; her grandsons, Austin and Dana; her twin sister Andrea; and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, Louis and Marjorie LaJoie, and her brother, Joseph LaJoie.

A Celebration of Muriel will be held on March 30, 2025, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the American Legion Post-221, 357 The Great Road, Bedford. All are welcome to attend as we gather to honor and remember Muriel's beautiful spirit.

Muriel's kindness, love for adventure, and unwavering devotion to family will forever be remembered. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
