Meredith "Merry" Moore Patta, age 58 of Lowell, passed away with her loving husband by her side on February 12, 2023 after a long illness.

She is survived by the love of her life, her devoted husband of 30 years, Joe Patta. She is also survived by her stepmother Gloria Moore and step-sisters, Suzie and Michelle. Merry is predeceased by her parents, the late Joseph and Madeline Moore.

Merry grew up in Bedford and graduated from Bedford High School. She then graduated from Katharine Gibbs College and went on to have a successful career as an Executive Assistant at Nokia.

Merry loved to vacation every year with her husband in Sarasota, Florida, kayaking, swimming, laying in the sun, and enjoying time with friends.

Merry leaves behind a legacy of generous support to animals, both big and small, domestic and wild. She was an avid supporter of many animal shelters. Those who knew her know that she was met at the rainbow bridge by a herd of animals whose lives she had touched during hers.

Merry had an infectious laugh and smile. She will be missed by all that knew and loved her.

Visiting hours were held in Shawsheen Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 21, 2022.
