Mary Sullivan Ford of Bedford passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on March 16, 2023.

Mary grew up in Somerville, graduating from St. Joseph's High School. She later started a family and moved to Medford, finally settling in Bedford in 1973.

She is survived by her beloved husband William F. Ford, Sr. with whom she shared 63 years of marriage. Devoted mother of  William F. Ford Jr. and his wife Tina of Chelmsford, Eileen Brickey and Jeff Hill of Billerica, and Thomas O. Ford and his wife Joan of Burlington.

Mary is also survived by her 7 grandchildren: Robert and Mary Ellen Brickey; Kaitlyn, TJ, and Julia Ford; and Keely and Patrick Ford. She is also survived by her  brother William Sullivan of Cohasset. Predeceased by her sister Kathleen (Sullivan) Wesley and her brother Thomas Sullivan.

Visiting hours will be held in Shawsheen Funeral Home on Tuesday, March 21, 2023 4pm to 7pm. Family and friends will gather at Shawsheen Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at 9am for procession to a Funeral Mass in St. Michael's Church, 90 Concord Rd., Bedford at 10am. Burial to follow in Shawsheen Cemetery, Bedford.
