Marie G. (Caggiano) Mann of Bedford passed away at home on November 17, 2019. She was 92 years old. Born in Boston, she was the beloved daughter of the late Grace (Ferrara) and Ernest P. Caggiano. She grew up in Winthrop before moving to Bedford over 60 years ago. For many years she was a musician playing her accordion and signing at many different venues. She was also the former organist and soloist at St. Michael's Church in Bedford. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, a volunteer at the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital in Bedford, the St. Michael's Church Choir and the St. Lazarus Church Choir. She was the devoted wife of the late Robert F. Mann and the loving mother of Karyn Biancuzzo of Melrose, Robert Mann of Vermont and Lisa Earl of Westford. She was the dear sister of Frances Driscoll of Hingham, Ernest C. Caggiano of Winthrop and the late Joseph Caggiano. She is also survived by five grandchildren. Visitng hours were held in Shawsheen Funeral Home on Thursday, November 21, 2019. A Funeral Mass was celebrated in St. Michael's Church in Bedford on Friday, November 22, 2019; burial in Shawsheen Cemetery followed. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marie's memory to the Edith Nourse Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital ( https://www.volunteer.va.gov/apps/VolunteerNow/ ) are appreciated.
