John B. Mungo, age 85, of Bedford, passed away suddenly Thursday March 3, 2022 after a short illness. He was a beloved partner, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend. He was born in Everett, MA on October 18, 1936. He was educated in the Everett School System and Wentworth Institute in Boston. He served in the National Guard for thirteen years. He was an active member and past president of the Lexington Lions Club International. He was an avid golfer and loved boating and being on the water at their summer cottage in Little Neck, Ipswich. He is survived by his partner, Norma, his three children: Robert, Lynn, and Cheryl, and served as a grandfather and great grandfather to his extended family. Family and numerous friends gathered in Shawsheen Funeral Home on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 before proceeding to Shawsheen Cemetery for burial.
