John "Jack" H. Hansis of Tyngsborough, formerly of Bedford, died on April 30, 2018. He was the beloved husband of the late Albina (Piechowski) Hansis. Loving father of Carol West and her husband Brad of Tyngsborough, James Hansis and his wife Amy of Westford, and Thomas Hansis and his wife Sandy of Amherst, NH. Loving grandfather of Ryan, Katherine, Tyler, Alex, Garrett, and Maitlin. Brother of Doris Carlin and Gladys Hansis; he is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Jack loved Foxwoods, the ocean, and spending time in York, Maine. Funeral Home visiting hours on Thursday, May 3, 2018 4pm to 7pm. Funeral from Shawsheen Funeral Home on Friday, May 4, 2018 at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Michael's Church, 90 Concord Road, Bedford at 10am. Burial to follow in Tyngsborough Memorial Cemetery, Fletcher Road, Tyngsborough. Family and friends invited. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jack's memory to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
