Joan (Sheehan) Modoono of Bedford died suddenly on May 18, 2023. She was the predeceased by her husband of over 50 years, Edward P. Modoono, Sr.

Joan leaves behind her beloved son Edward P. Modoono, Jr. of Bedford and her precious puppy, Danny. She was the loving sister of Jane Messina and the late Ruth Ann Veno. She is also survived by brothers-in-law Kenneth Veno and Paul Modoono. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Joanne Sheehan and brothers-in-law Sylvester Modoono and Alfred Messina.

Joan had many aunts, cousins, friends, and her best friends MaryAnn Reyes of Lexington and Marlene McCaffery of Bedford.

She will be missed by all who knew her. Per her wish, services are private. A Celebration of Joan will be planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joan's memory to the Northeast Animal Shelter, 347 Highland Avenue, Sales, MA 01970 are very appreciated.
