Janice H. (Johnson) D'Auria of Mashpee, formerly of Bedford, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on May 11, 2023 at the age of 84.

After graduating from Woburn High School, Janice married the love of her life, the late Robert D'Auria, her husband of 62 years. A devoted wife and mother, Janice worked tirelessly along with Bob, a Bedford Police officer, to provide opportunities for their four children.

Upon retiring, Janny and Bob moved to Mashpee where they enjoyed time together golfing, fishing, and helping to raise their grandchildren. Janny also loved bowling and her book club, was an avid sports fan, and was always there for whoever needed her with her quick wit, kind words and a mean sweet tooth.

She is survived by her children Robert D'Auria and his wife Anna of Chelmsford, Richard D'Auria and his wife Julia of Merrimack, NH, Diane D'Auria Doodlesack and her husband Gary of Reading, and Russell D'Auria of Boxboro. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Christina D'Auria Milligan, Robert D'Auria, Jr., John D'Auria, Annika D'Auria, Amanda Doodlesack Wukie, Garrison Doodlesack, and Jeff D'Auria, as well as five great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours in Shawsheen Funeral Home on Monday, May 15, 2023 from 4pm to 8pm. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 16 at 12pm in Great Neck Woods Cemetery on Great Neck Road S, Mashpee, MA.
