James Michael Porter of Woburn died on February 8, 2021. He was the longtime companion of Paula Stephens. Beloved brother of Thomas J. Porter Jr. of Woburn, Robert E. Porter and his wife Sandra of Chelmsford, John F. "Buddy" Porter of Billerica, the late Jean Fitzpatrick and the late Mary Porter. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was a former US Postal Carrier in Bedford. Visiting hours will be held in Shawsheen Funeral Home on Friday, February 12, 2021 5-7pm. Funeral from Shawsheen Funeral Home on Saturday, February 13, 2021 at 9:30am followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Michael's Church, 90 Concord Rd., BEDFORD at 10am. Family and friends invited; masks must be worn and social distance maintained. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society, 3 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701 are appreciated.
