In Loving Memory of Ioana Gorohovschii

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Ioana Gorohovschii, who left this world peacefully on September 29, 2025, at the age of 93.

Born on November 13, 1931, Ioana lived a long and meaningful life defined by compassion, wisdom, and unwavering dedication to education. As a teacher, she inspired generations of students with her patience, knowledge, and gentle spirit, leaving a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of learning from her.

Ioana was the proud and loving mother of three children: Lilia, Arcadii and Rodica. She was also blessed with eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren, each of whom brought joy and pride into her life. Her legacy of love, strength, and perseverance will continue to live on through them.

She will be remembered not only as an educator but also as a guiding light in the lives of her family and community. Her wisdom, kindness, and quiet strength will never be forgotten.

A wake will be in Shawsheen Funeral Home on Friday, October 3, 2025 from 5pm to 7pm.

A Funeral Service will be held in Shawsheen Funeral Home on Saturday, October 4, 2025 at 9:30am. A celebration of life will be held at Osteria Nino in Burlington on Saturday at 11am.
