Frank Kennery, a beloved fixture of the Bedford community and a devoted family man, passed away on February 10, 2026, at the age of 82.

Born on December 23, 1943, to the late Joseph and Gemma Kennery, Frank was a man defined by his consistency, his work ethic, and his ability to connect with others. For over 60 years, Frank lived and worked in the Bedford area, becoming a familiar and friendly face to generations of residents.

While many knew him from various interactions in town over the decades, he was perhaps most fondly recognized for his work over the last 20 years as a local school bus driver. Frank took immense pride in transporting the children of Bedford; he didn't just drive a route—he built lasting relationships, greeted every student with a smile, and became a staple of their daily lives. In Frank’s free time he would often frequent Patriot Golf course and play 9 holes with his closest golf buddies who he cherished, often followed by a cruise up to the beach in his Corvette.

Above all his community ties, Frank was a loving father and a proud "Papa." His family was his greatest joy, and he cherished every moment spent in their company.

He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by his sons, Shaun (and wife Jennifer) and Ryan (and wife Rachel); his cherished grandchildren, Quinn, Aiden, Jocelyn, and Camden, who were the light of his life; and his ex-wife and friend, Jan.

Frank’s legacy of kindness, reliability, and humor will live on in the hearts of his family and the many Bedford neighbors who were lucky enough to call him a friend.

Vising hours will be held in Shawsheen Funeral Home on Monday February 16, 2026 4pm to 7pm. Funeral from Shawsheen Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 17, 2026 at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass Celebration in St. Michael's Church, 90 Concord Road, BEDFORD at 10am. Burial will be in Shawsheen Cemetery, Bedford. Family and friends invited.
