Elizabeth Ann (Meuse) Clements-Dillen of Bedford died surrounded by her loving family on Friday, September 30, 2022. She was 78 years old.
She was born in Cambridge and raised in Burlington, daughter of the late Alice L. (Authier) and John A. Meuse. Having lived in Texas, Alaska and Billerica she settled in Bedford for the last 50 years.
Elizabeth worked as an administrative assistant for the town of Bedford DPW for many years. She was also a TCM aficionado, committed 4-H Rabbit Club member, Red Hatter, expert seamstress and quilter, and ruthless food critic. Her biggest hobby and interest was her large and loving family. She was a wonderful Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother and was always there when we needed her.
Elizabeth was Gold Star wife of the late Ronald W. Clements and wife of the late Pierre A. Dillen.
She is survived by her children: Martin R. Clements of Bedford, Marcia L. Pyles and her husband Bill of Billerica, Michelle M. Clements and her wife Dani Langevin of Methuen, David W. Dillen and his wife Amy of Bedford, Jack J. Dillen and his wife Allison of Bedford, and John J. Dillen and his wife Rennie of Wareham. Grandmother of Brandon, Tyler, and Meghan Pyles of Billerica, Lucas Lamothe and his wife Kelsie of Alaska, Sam Lamothe of New Hampshire, Abbi Cosgriff and her husband Mike of New Hampshire, Noah Dillen of Bedford, and Rennieanna, Adreanna, Aiden, and Owen Dillen of Wareham. Great-grandmother of Skarlette Lamothe and William Cosgriff. Sister of John "Steve" Meuse and his wife Marion Jean of New Hampshire and Frederick A. Meuse and his wife Mary Ellen of Florida.
She is pre-deceased by son Edward P. Dillen and her forever friends Chin Chin, Chuckie, and Riley.
A graveside funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2022 at 11am in Shawsheen Cemetery, 1 Shawsheen Road, Bedford. Family and friends are kindly invited.
