Diane (Flewelling) Jenkins, age 85, of Bedford, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2025, surrounded by the love of her family. She was the wife of the late Robert (Bob) Jenkins, who passed away on September 30, 2018.

Born May 22, 1940, she was preceded in death by her parents Walter and Jennie (Mellett) Flewelling. She was raised in Bedford and was a classmate in the first graduating class from Bedford High in 1958.

Diane worked at Raytheon, was a Bedford school bus driver and worked at Marshalls, where she made many lifelong friends.

In her free time, she loved playing cards with family and friends, watching Hallmark movies, steamers, feeding the pigs and visiting with her friends. She had a knack for gardening, loved her roses and bird watching. Bob and she enjoyed many years of traveling the country in their RV. Her biggest joy was spending time with her family. "And that's what I know," she would say.

Diane is survived by her adoring children: Deborah Cullen and her husband James, of Billerica; Brenda Farulla and her husband Joseph, of Norwood; Suzanne Wilson of Nashua, NH; William Pyles and his wife Marcia, of Billerica; Carrie Clasby and her husband Daniel, of Ipswich; and Craig Jenkins and his wife Susan, of Derby, KS.

She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; her siblings: George Flewelling and his wife Jean; Audrey Reed; Nancy Booth; David Flewelling and his wife Sheila; and Wilma Buxton; also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours were held in Shawsheen Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 4, 2025. Burial was in Shawsheen Cemetery, Bedford.
