Cheryl Lee Blalock died peacefully on June 8, 2022 after a short illness. Cheryl was born in Providence, Rhode Island to Willie T. Blalock and Emmaetta J. Cordwell on September 22, 1955. She lived most of her life in Providence before moving to Bedford 23 years ago. Cheryl was a U.S. Army Veteran and always lent a helping hand to other veterans at the V.A. Hospital in Bedford. Cheryl leaves her mother Emmaetta J.Cardwell of Virginia, her daughter Keturah C. (Day) Blalock and her husband Larry V. Day, many cousins and close friends including her longtime companion Charlie Perry. She is preceded in death by her brother John L. Blalock and her grandson Timothy R. Blalock. A memorial will be held at a later time.
