Charles William Haering, age 75 of Nashua, NH died on February 19, 2021 after a battle with bladder cancer. Born on August 30, 1945 in Westwood, MA, he was the son of the late William C. and Dorothy (Witt) Haering. He served in the Army Reserves during the Vietnam War. He was the former husband of Roseann (Cammarata) Haering-Shorette and devoted father of Chad W. Haering. During his career as a computer technician, he had the pleasure of working for such companies as Sun, MITRE, and Prime Computer. He loved the outdoors, the woods, and fishing. He was compassionate and personable and was able to hold conversations in earnest with anyone, rich or poor, dignitary or homeless. He is survived by his ex-wife Roseann Shorette; his loving son Chad; daughter-in-law Kari Haering; two granddaughters, Jordan and Harper; and his sister Virginia Smith. A burial and memorial service will be held outdoors in Westwood this summer.
