Barbara dove of Lexington died on July 26, 2018. She was the beloved wife of James W. Slack of Lexington. Loving mother of Andrea Fairbank of Lexington. Also loving step-mother of Will Slack of Cambridge and Lothian Buss of Albany, NY. Survived by siblings, David Dove, Jan Henderson, Gordon Dove, and Webster Dove; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Barbara completed two tours with the Peace Corps in W. Africa where she was a teacher and then conducted medical research after returning to the US. She did her graduate work and earned a Master's degree and M.B.A. After a long career in engineering and business, she returned to teaching as a high school math teacher. Services to be held at a later date.
