Barbara A. Beecy, age 82 of Billerica and formerly of Bedford, passed away in her home with her family by her side on August 27, 2023. Barbara was the beloved wife of Albert P. Beecy Sr. (predeceased August 27, 2016) of Bedford with whom she shared 56 beautiful years of marriage.

Born in Baltimore, MD, Barbara was the youngest daughter of the late William and Emma (Schlesinger) Wells. Barbara and Albert met in Baltimore, but decided to settle in Milwaukee, WI to be close to her sister Virginia (Wells) Kierzek. Barbara was a doting stay at home mother in her children's early years of life, until she went back to work at the Milwaukee Health Department, a job she often said she would "do for free!". Other things that enlightened Barbara's life were reading, volunteering to help stray animals, baking, singing, and being with her dogs and family.

Surviving Barbara are her three sons, Albert P. Beecy Jr. of Waltham, Christoper W. Beecy and his wife Donna (Williams) Beecy of Bedford, and Michael F. Beecy of Beverly. Barbara had three granddaughters: Hannah Beecy of Beverly, and twin granddaughters, Megan Beecy and Amber Beecy of Bedford.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in Saint Michael's Church, 90 Concord Road, Bedford on Wednesday, August 30, 2023 at 10am. Family and friends invited.
