Anita passed away peacefully in her sleep while living in Sudbury MA on April 3, 2024.

Anita was born in Cuba to Jerry and the late Alicia Weinstein. She moved to Florida as a baby and to Westborough MA while in High School. She spent her adult life living in Shrewsbury MA where she had many wonderful friends and brought great joy to everyone she came into contact with. Her primary job for many years was as an aid at a local nursing home where she was beloved for her positive outlook. Anita enjoyed walking and biking around the town of Shrewsbury to visit friends. She was a member of the Grace Baptist Church in Shrewsbury, MA and this community was very central in her life.

Anita was a loving and cherished friend, daughter, sister and aunt. She is survived by her father Jerry Weinstein and his wife Joanne, and siblings, Marisa Weinstein and her wife Marilyn Buzy, Linda Richter and her husband Ron, John Weinstein and his wife Lynn, and Karen Taylor. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Anita was predeceased by her mother Alicia.
